This project explored co-branded card designs for MyRewards and B.DUCK in collaboration with Walletio. The aim was to develop collectible designs that captured the unique personality of each brand while maintaining visual alignment with Walletio’s identity. Targeted at younger users, the cards were intended to enhance brand visibility through fun, recognisable visuals.
Each design drew upon the core visual language of its respective brand. The B.DUCK card adopted a playful aesthetic with a custom logo lock-up featuring Walletio, while the MyRewards card presented a cleaner, colourful and geometrical look. All designs were developed by China UnionPay’s stringent design standards, including chip placement, contrast ratios, and clear zones.
Visuals were created using Illustrator, in collaboration with brand teams, product managers, and marketing stakeholders to ensure alignment on tone and visual direction. All drafts underwent internal review and were prepared for UnionPay’s compliance assessment.
Although the cards were not produced, the project provided valuable experience in adapting brand identities within defined technical constraints. It served as an effective exercise in visual integration—merging two distinct brands while maintaining authenticity in each expression.
